A magical story that happened one day in my life....
Being a nurse and professional masseur for me it was not difficult to make relaxing and also curing massage for many people, it was my job, it is well known that sometimes a good massage can be better than a medicine! But I have never known that this skill will help me to find him and win his heart!
No doubts that it is not easy when you are after 60 to find the right person and right step for woman to create a close contact on this way!
But one day I was sitting and thinking about my life and then I asked myself:” why not? It would be wonderful if it happens and It would be possible to be happy then!”
So, it was a nice surprise for me to see his profile! So, I decided to introduce myself to him on this way, although I suppose, it would be not easy to build up a close contact to each other on this base.
Surely many other women had the same goal like I had. But I tried to do my best. I can tell you my secret now. There are so many nice women in Ukraine, very beautiful and very intelligent and of course nowadays to be just beautiful is not enough to attract man. There must be something special in a woman that her man can see and feel only with her. In my case it was a massage. A story about unexpected love and how one meeting can change everything.
He had never been lucky in love and believed he could always predict how relationships would end. Over time, he stopped trusting emotions, thinking many of them were not real.
But life had other plans — and one day, our paths crossed, changing everything.
He has never been lucky in love. He once told me that he could always predict the end of every relationship he had been through. He expected every word he heard, every emotion that once felt real but turned out to be fake.
And then, along this long road, he was guided to meet me — and everything changed.
When I met him on this site, suddenly and completely unexpectedly, he became the most important person in my life.
He was, and still is, my best friend — the one I share all my secrets with, like a shadow that never leaves my side.
After a few years of communication, we finally met in real life. It was truly wonderful. My son became his good friend as well — they always write a few kind words to each other in every letter. Our first meeting was all together: me, my son, and my mother. We had a warm and unforgettable family dinner.
How do I feel after all that? I feel great. I would even say it’s incredible how life can change. How one person can turn your entire world around. How one person can make you cry so deeply or make you laugh until you cry.
He shares my secrets, my hopes, my fears. He made me feel unique. I don’t need a mirror to see myself anymore — I only need to look into his eyes to see the person he sees in me.
Of course, there are moments when we can’t stand each other. Moments when he becomes the last person I want to hear or see, the last person I want to think about. Times when I feel we are completely disconnected. When he does nothing to make me feel more secure, when he is too tired to think about both of us instead of only himself. When I get too emotional and complain about things he cannot change or fix. When I talk too much and he gets tired or bored. Or when he underestimates my feelings.
These moments are part of every relationship. But they either bring us closer and make us love each other more — or create distance between us.
This is my story.

Like love, when using a pencil sometimes mistakes are made, but the eraser like time doesn’t fully cover them up ever. Pretending mistakes don’t exist, doesn’t make them go away, only writing something more profound over it can make it seem that way.
My dear readers , I am hurrying to write you this story , because I am overwhelmed with my feelings after my nice meeting I had with one charming gentleman.
I decided to write this in pencil, knowing it would have to be transcribed onto a computer later because it seemed natural. I forgot how easy they are to use when time has given me so much technology, time has given me a computer. Natural seems the most appropriate thing to do when referencing a story about love. Love is something ironically so cliché and so important that I always take it for granted, like this beautiful piece of yellow painted wood with a small number two engraved into it. Like love, when using a pencil sometimes mistakes are made, but the eraser like time doesn’t fully cover them up ever. Pretending mistakes don’t exist, doesn’t make them go away, only writing something more profound over it can make it seem that way.
I want when you read our Story About Love you couldn’t help but smile at the timeless love story told about two people who fell in love with each other online. The story made it obvious that even after living so far it really can be kindled no matter how unbelievably it seems; if we just take the time and talk and learn about each other, laugh along the way, and remember what it was that made us fall in love in the first place. So that how it was with me and Charles!
Have you ever noticed how it is important to talk with each other? Often when people start to drift apart, the first thing they do is stop talking. The two lovebirds in this tale, Julia and Charles, spent their days “acquainting” themselves with each other. There were so many things to know about each other!
For three hundred sixty -five days straight before our meeting, the two of us relived our lives for each other during conversation. We learned both were capable of engaging in stimulating conversation with each other because we had so much in common. We talked of art, of literature, of life, society and politics! When two people are away from each other, their letters made them closer to each other, because every letter is a one day life story!
Our meeting in real life was incredible! We were sitting in a nice quite restaurant, drinking coffee and talking about all things that we are interested to know about each other, watching in each other’s eyes and could not believe that all this happened in real life with us. We were just happy, very happy.....
When I hand this over to my computer to be typed, maybe I will make that last line disappear. Then you can live in the fantasy world where mistakes are never made and love is never lost....
